Resident Doctors' Association (RDA) has extended the support to Dr. Mohammad Azeemullah Malik and Dr. Obaid Imtiyazul Haque after they were terminated from Jawaharlal Nehru hospital (JNMCH) in Aligarh from their services in reaction to their contradictory statement regarding Forensic science laboratory report in Hathras gang-rape.. RDA has demanded the University authorities that if they will not revoke the orders of the doctors, they will go on hunger strike.

Dr. Hamza Malik, president Resident Doctors' Association said, "Both the doctors have been performing their duties diligently and sincerely even at the time of crises."

He said, "We believe that this decision is very much influenced by the vendetta politics aimed to suppress the independent voices."

"We demand university administration to therefore withdraw the order of service termination within 24 hours, otherwise RDA will have to utilize its democratic rights and we will launch a strike to safeguard the rights and interest of doctors fraternity", he further added.

However, Dr. Malik and Dr. Obaid are still are continuing their duties on the verbal request of Chief medical superintendent, Dr. S.A.H. Zaidi and Dr. Imtiyaz. Dr. Obaid is working in the morning shift and Dr. Azeem in the evening.
