New Delhi: The domestic who was forcefully dragged inside an elevator by a Noida resident revealed more about her sufferings at the hand of the family.

A footage on Wednesday showed Shefali Kaul, the resident of Noida’s Cleo County society, manhandling the 20-year-old.

The victim, Anita, said she was beaten up by the woman’s family for eating some jiggery, NDTV reported.

After footage went viral police filed a case against the woman who, according to the victim, even threatened to kill her alongside beating.

Anita said the family used to beat her regularly and when she ran away after refusing to work, they forcefully brought her back.

Police reportedly are waiting for a medical report on the bruises and scratches she received during the incident.

Anita accused Shefali Kaul of beating her every day and dousing her with cold war.

After Anita ate some jiggery on December 26, the woman beat her with slippers alongside threatening to set her fire or throw her down from the roof.’

Anita, who has been working for the family since April, tried to escape from the home by climbing down using a rope of dupattas, but the guard caught her.

After the guard informed Shefali Kaul of it, she hit Anita and dragged her upstairs, choking her.

Several similar incidents involving residents manhandling domestic help, security guard and elevator guard have come out recently.

A woman professor, Sutapa Das, was caught on camera slapping a security guard in Nodia in September.
