New Delhi: A Delhi court sent Shraddha Walkar-murder-accused Aftab Poonawala to judicial custody on Saturday. Aftab, who was produced before the Saket court in the national capital via video conferencing, was sent to 13 days of judicial custody, NDTV reported citing officials.

Officials said that the accused, who was subjected to the polygraph test, will be put to narco analysis, and the same is expected to be conducted on Monday. All the sessions of the accused's polygraph test, such as the pre, main and post-stages, were completed on Friday. He was brought to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Rohini, Delhi, at 4 pm for the third session of the test and was dismissed after 6:30 pm.

He was subjected to a polygraph test for around eight hours on Thursday, but officials couldn't complete the procedure since he was not well.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police contacted the woman, who was dated by Aftab after he killed Shraddha.

Police said that he met the woman, a doctor by profession, on the dating app 'Bumble' where he had met Shraddha a couple of years ago. The woman is a psychologist, police added.

Aftab allegedly strangulated Shraddha, cut her body into 35 pieces, stored in a fridge and dumped them off in the next 18 days in the Mehrauli forests in Delhi. The couple used to have a chaotic relationship, and Shraddha used to face physical abuse. On the day of her murder, only four days after the couple moved to Delhi from Mumbai, they had an argument over infidelity and expenses, which led to the horrible crime, police said.

Citing police accounts, NDTV reports that cops have not yet recovered Shraddha's skull and remaining body party. They have recovered five knives Aftab allegedly used to butcher the dead body, but a saw is still missing.
