Mathura/UP: Union Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday that Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) stand for casteism and dynasty while BJP works for the entire society, Asian News International reported. He was addressing supporters in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura during poll campaigns.

Shah praised the Yog Adityanath government and said that no one had even drawn a map for complete development in UP, but after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, and Adityanath became chief minister of the state. Consequently, the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' became prominent, he said.

He thanked the people of the Braj region for always choosing BJP and voting them to power in 2014 and 2017. The credit of remarkable developments that happened in UP goes to the "great people" of the state, he said.

Accusing Akhilesh Yadav of corruption, Shah said that from Akhilesh's rule to BJP's, corruption has decreased by 70 per cent. Loot declined by 72 per cent, murder by 29 per cent and kidnapping by 35 per cent.

Regarding Akhilesh's promise of providing every household with 300 units of free electricity, Shah asked when Akhilesh could not even provide electricity, how could he talk about giving it for free.

The BJP government has done the work to provide free electricity connections for 1.41 crore houses, Shah said. Modi government had done work to provide houses for 42 lakh people in UP under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Every year, Rs 6,000 has been transferred to 2.54 crore farmers, bank accounts.
