Teen girl repeatedly stabbed, stoned by boyfriend, onlookers did nothing to stop

New Delhi: A 16-year-old teen girl was repeatedly stabbed and hit with stones before taking her last breath, while some people could be seen merely being onlookers when her boyfriend attacked her. The incident was recorded on camera in Delhi's Shahbad Dairy.

The police stated that authorities are currently conducting a search operation to apprehend the accused, identified as Sahil. The incident, which occurred on Sunday evening, has gained significant attention after a video of the incident went viral on social media.

The footage shows Sahil, wearing a blue t-shirt, repeatedly stabbing the girl, while a group of about seven to eight bystanders is present at the scene. Despite one man's attempt to intervene, Sahil pushes him away and continues his attack. Throughout the assault, Sahil also threatens the onlookers, demanding that they disperse.

After stabbing the girl, Sahil proceeds to kick her multiple times and strikes her with a boulder five times. He briefly leaves the scene but soon returns, delivering another blow with the boulder, followed by more kicks. Eventually, Sahil departs once again.

According to the police official, the victim, a resident of JJ Colony, was in a relationship with Sahil but they recently had an argument. On the day of the incident, the girl was en route to a friend's son's birthday celebration when Sahil intercepted her.

Currently, Sahil is evading authorities, and a search operation is underway to apprehend him. The victim's father has filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a case against Sahil under section 302 (murder) of the IPC.
