Hyderabad: As Union Home minister Amit Shah is all set to visit Telangana, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLA K Kavitha has raised a few questions for him to answer, IANS reported.

Shah will be arriving in Hyderabad on Saturday afternoon and plans to address a meeting in Tukkuguda on the same evening.

Kavitha's attack comes after her brother and TRS working president, KT Rama Rao, questioned Shah. Kavitha took a fresh attack on the Union government on Twitter, listing the latter's failed promises to Telangana.

Kavitha started by welcoming Shah to the state through a series of tweets by her and then said, "please tell the people of Telangana when will the Central government clear the following: dues of Finance Commission Grants: Over Rs 3,000 crore; Backward Region Grant: Rs 1,350 crore; GST Compensation: Rs 2,247 crore".

She wrote, "Why did the Union Government ignore NITI Aayog's recommendation of Rs 24,000 Cr funds to Mission Kakatiya & Mission Bhagiratha that inspired the prestigious Central government scheme of Har Ghar Jal."

She questioned, "Amit Shah Ji, isn't it the sheer hypocrisy of the Union government to accord the National project status to Upper Bhadra project in Karnataka, Ken Betwa river linking project & denying the same for Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme & Kaleshwaram Project of Telangana?"

KTR had written an open letter to Amit Shah on Friday, asking 27 questions on failed promises and alleged that the Centre is discriminating against Telangana.
