Dindigul: Police are looking for two neighbours for killing a farmer in Thadicombu town of Tamil Nadu’s Dindigul district.

The 65-year-old farmer was killed after he refused to call the pet dogs of the two men by their names.

Rayappan was not in good terms with the dogs of Daniel and Vincent who are his relatives and neigbours, India Today reported.

He complained about the dogs getting aggressive towards passersby.

The quarrel started after Rayappan told the two men to keep their dogs on leash.

He said so without calling the dogs by their names, irking the two men on Thursday.

An argument ensued which went out of hand when Rayappan looked for a stick to hit the dogs.

Vincent and Daniel allegedly roughed up the farmer who fell unconscious and died.

The Thadikombu Police have registered a case and issued a lookout notice for the accused.
