Video: Pigs licking of utensils from govt run canteen in Rajasthan

Bharatpur: A video has surfaced on social media featuring stray pigs licking utensils from the subsidized canteens set up by the Rajasthan government, NDTV reported, featuring the video in its report.
The state administration had opened subsidized canteens under the Indira Rasoi Yojana during the Covid-19 pandemic and had served meals at as low as Rs 8.
The incident of pigs licking utensils has come under heavy criticism. In the video, pigs devour the plates that are used to serve food at MSJ College in Bharatpur.
However, Bharatpur Mayor responded that he had seen the footage and had initiated an investigation into the incident. He said that the incident happened out of irresponsible operators. Municipal Corporation would take appropriate action, he added.
The corporation informed that the canteen's license had been suspended.
