Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal on Republic Day unveiled posters of his upcoming movie 'Sanak' directed by Kanishk Varma and produced by Vipul Armrutlal Shah.
Describing the film as an "action extravaganza", Jammwal also revealed that the film would star Neha Dhupia, Rukmini Maitra and Roy Malhotra in prominent roles. This is also actress Rimini Maitra's debut in Bollywood. The filming has already begun and reports estimate that it will be wrapped up by March this year.
The film is a remake of the 2002 Denzel Washington-starrer 'John Q' directed by Nick Cassavetes. Washington played the role of John. Q.Archibald, a desperate father who takes a hospital ward hostage to get treatment for his sick son.
