Riyadh: Gulf Madhyamam has announced the winners of the first phase of the 'India @ 75 Freedom Quiz', a mega virtual competition for students in Saudi Arabia, as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of Indian independence and India-Saudi friendship. Tens of thousands of children from across the country took part in the competition, which was held on September 24.
In the competition held across two categories, 150 students from each category qualified for the semi finals. 50 each from Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh regions qualified for the next round from each category. The semi-finals shall be held on October 1 (Friday).
