Women in Uttarakhand transfer their properties to Rahul Gandhi

Dehradun: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has received all the property belonging to Pushpa Munjial, a senior citizen from Dehradun. She filed a testament (will) in the district court on Monday.

Lalchand Sharma, the metropolitan president of the Congress Party, said during the presentation of Ms Munjial's testament that she was influenced by the ideas of Rahul Gandhi.

"(Pushpa) Munjial told us that Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of this country. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have dedicated themselves to the service of the nation. She is very much influenced by this," said Sharma.

In her will, Pushpa Munjial bequeathed property to Rahul Gandhi at the residence of former state president Pritam Singh.
