Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday slammed the nuclear deal finalised recently between the six world powers and Iran, terming it a "historic mistake".
"The deal is a bad mistake of historic proportions," Xinhua quoted Netanyahu as saying at the beginning of his meeting with visiting Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders here on Tuesday.
"When you are willing to have an agreement at any price, this is the result... In all fields, in which they (P5+1) were supposed to prevent Iran from arming itself with nuclear weapons, far-reaching concessions were made," Netanyahu said.
The Israeli prime minister had earlier in April objected to the then ongoing nuclear talks' outline presented in Switzerland between Iran and the P5+1 group -- China, France, the US, Britain, Russia plus Germany.
After two extensions, a news broke out on June 30 that a deal has been reached.
