Beijing: Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the US from September 22 to 25 at the invitation of US President Barack Obama, a foreign ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.
At the invitation of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Xi will visit the UN headquarters in New York to attend a series of summits to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations from September 26 to 28, Xinhua news agency quoted the spokesperson Lu Kang as saying.
