Bishkek: At least one person was killed and three others were injured on Tuesday when a powerful explosion rocked the Chinese embassy in Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek.

According to Xinhua news agency, a car rammed onto the gates of the embassy which caused the explosion.

The identities and nationalities of the injured were yet to be ascertained.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly died in the blast, RT news reported.
