"Riyadh: Protests against the new citizenship law triggered a Saudi Arabia travel warning for northeast India following days of violent clashes that have caused several deaths, news agencies reported.
The Embassy of Saudi Arabia to India issued a travel advisory on Saturday for its citizens to exercise caution due to the ongoing protests in the northeast Indian states.The Embassy also urged its citizens to avoid their trips to the northeastern states.
Earlier, the US, UK and Canada also had warned its citizens against visiting the northeastern states of India due to the ongoing protests over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019.
