Thiruvananthapuram: A group of activists Saturday carried out a 'Kiss of Love' protest, meant to expressing solidarity with the fight against moral policing, in front of the Kairali-Sree theatre complex at Thampanoor, the main venue of IFFK.

Protesters raised slogans against 'fascism' and indulged in 'kiss' in front of the Kairali theatre, the main venue of the festival.

However, when a group of persons objected to the 'Kiss protest', police, deployed in large numbers near the theatre intervened and brought the situation under control.

"We are tired of the moral policing happening in the state," one of the woman protesters told Television channels.
