Kozhikode: Post graduate doctors of the Kozhikode Medical College, who were on strike protesting against the government’s decision to transfer a section of them to the Manjeri Medical College, withdrew their strike on Saturday morning.
The strike was withdrawn after the Health Minister assured them that the government would drop its decision in that matter.
As part of the protest, the PG doctors had abstained from work at the OP, wards and at operation theatres. However, ICU, labour room and other important departments functioned as usual.
