One more infant dies in Attappady

Palakkad: One more infant has died of alleged malnutrition in Attappady here, taking the toll of such deaths to 19 since January this year.

Two-month-old child of Jadakan-Valarmathi of Sholayur Anakkatt hamlet died on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, a delegation led by Health Minister V.S. Sivakumar and Minister for Social Justice M.K. Muneer is visiting Attappady today.

The team includes Health Secretary K. Ellangovan, Director of Health Services P.K. Jameela, and Director of NRHM Minhaj Alam.
