Kochi: The High Court Thursday directed the state government to complete the construction of all roads to Sabarimala before the commencement of the two-month long pilgrimage season this month.
A Division Bench, comprising Justice T R Ramachandra Nair and Justice P V Asha, issued the direction after recording the assurance by the state government that 90 per cent of the works had been completed and remaining work would be over before the commencement of the pilgrimage season.
The bench issued the direction in suo motu proceedings pending before the court on Sabarimala cases.
