Thiruvananthapuram: The Director of Public Instructions, Gopalakrishna Bhat, on Friday said that the SSLC mess was because of the mistakes committed by those who evaluated the papers.
Talking to the media, Bhat said that a detailed report on the matter would be submitted to the government soon.
“No major fault has been detected with the software. The chaos happened because of the mistakes in data-entry. However, we will examine if there was any technical fault,” he said.
The DPI’s remarks contradict the version of Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb, who had said the problem associated with the software was the reason for the mess that followed the declaration of SSLC results.
The results have been removed from the official websites following gross mistakes. The Education Ministry had informed that fresh results would be published soon after correcting the mistakes.
