Thiruvananthapuram: DGP T.P Senkumar Friday issued a circular directing the police officials to speak politely while interacting with the public.
The circular also insist that seized vehicles should not be kept with the police force for long.
“Colloquial Malayali banter such as 'eda, poda' should be avoided,” the circular said.
“It is for the senior officials to check whether the personnel are behaving in a polite manner with the common people,” it said.
