Thiruvananthapuram: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) has reportedly submitted a factual report stating that there was clear evidence against Finance Minister K.M. in the bar bribery case.
VACB SP R Sukeshan in his report stated that there was substantial evidence to show Mani had received Rs 15 lakh at his Pala residence and Rs 10 lakh in Thiruvananthapuram.
The report also recommended prosecution of Mani in the case.
In October last year bar owner Biju Ramesh went live on a TV channel and claimed that Mani was given Rs. one crore as bribe to ensure that the closed bars would be opened.
