Kochi: The Kerala High Court Friday directed the state government to stay the bifurcation of the block panchayats.
The single bench issued the order citing that the government did not take any precautionary steps for the bifurcation process.
“The issues related to the borders are also a matter of concern in the bifurcating of the block panchayats like that of the formation of new Panchayats,” the court observed.
