Attack on T.P memorial in Vadakara

Kozhikode: The memorial of slain Revolutionary Marxist Party (RMP) leader T.P. Chandrasekharan has been attacked by unidentified people on Monday.

The RMP alleged the CPI(M) activists were behind the attack. They have called for a half-day hartal at Vallikkad in protest against the incident.

The memorial was erected by party loyalists at Vallikkaad near Vadakara, where the leader was brutally stabbed to death in 2012.

As many as 12 accused, including three leaders of the CPI(M), were convicted by a court in connection with the murder case.
