Two killed as bus falls into gorge in Munnar

Rajamala (Idukki): Two people were killed and 10 others injured when a tourist bus fell into a canal at Rajamala near Munnar on Tuesday.

One of the deceased has been identified as Ajesh Mohan, hailing from Perumbavoor. A Tamil Nadu native who died in the accident is yet to be identified.

Ananthu Raveendran , a native of Kottayam, has been admitted to a hospital with severe injuries.

The accident occurred at the 5th Mile, which is known as the gateway to Rajamala. The bus overturned after hitting two persons who were standing near the canal.
