Three Keralites killed in Saudi road accident

Jeddah: Three members of a family from Kerala were killed and two others sustained injuries in a road accident near Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Mumtaz (50), her son Shadil (28) and his three-year-old daughter. They were hailing from Areakode in Malappuram district.

Mumtaz’s husband Kareem and Shadil’s wife Rishna, who were injured in the accident, were admitted to a hospital in Rabigh.

They were travelling from Madina to Mecca when the accident occurred.

Shadil was working a company in Saudi Arabia. His father Kareem and mother Mumtaz arrived in Saudi recently on a visiting visa.
