Kozhikode: As the world observes anti-corruption day on Wednesday, senior IPS officer Jacob Thomas has taken to the social networking platform Facebook asking whether the fear too is paving the way to corruption.
“Though the power makes ground for the corruption, is the fear too paving the way to the evil practice?," Jacob Thomas asked in a post on his Facebook page.
He also called upon the people to dream for a clean Maveli rule as depicted in Kerala's folklore.
In an indirect hint towards corruption in the government, the IPS officer, in an earlier post on November 30, had said: “while preparing a shelter for the birds which do not sow or harvest we must also take care of those who sow and harvest.”
