Thiruvananthapuram: Sticking to his stand on the allegations against Finance Minister K.M Mani, Kerala Bar Hotel Owners' Association working president Biju Ramesh Sunday alleged there were attempts to sabotage the bar bribery case.
“The government is trying to influence the Vigilance team probing the bar scam. There are attempts to sabotage the case,” Biju told mediaperons.
Biju also said he would approach the High Court seeking a CBI probe into the case.
“Water Resources Minister P J Joseph had persuaded bar owners not to give statement against Mani in the Vigilance case,” he also alleged.
“I will produce evidence in this regard, including telephonic conversation recording, to the Vigilance team on Monday,” he said.
