Kochi: Security has been tightened at the International airport here in connection with the Republic Day celebrations.

Visitors, including friends and relatives accompanying passengers, will not be allowed to enter the airport terminals from tomorrow to Jan 31.

Airport Director A C K Nair said security measures had been increased as per the directions of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security and requested utmost co-operation from the passengers and visitors to ensure safety and security.
