Palakkad leads the race at school arts fete

Kozhikode: Palakkad district is leading the race for the Gold Cup at the 55^th State School Arts Festival as just one more day is left for the curtain down of the seven-day mega event.

Palakkad is maintaining the lead with 767 points on the sixth day of the fete.

Defending champion Kozhikode is racing behind it with 756 points.

Kannur and Thrissur, in third and fourth positions respectively, are in a neck-to-neck race with 746 and 741 points.

Malappuram is in the fifth position with 724 points, followed by Ernakulam (719), Kottayam (717), Kasaragod (711), Alappuzha (710), Kollam (696), Thiruvananthapuram (689), Wayanad (687), Pathanamthitta (629), and Idukki (605).
