Kozhikode, Palakkad share the gold cup at school arts fete

Kozhikode: After hours of a neck-and-neck race to clinch the gold cup, both Kozhikode and Palakkad districts ended up sharing the top position with 916 points each at the 55^th State School Arts Festival.

Though the last minutes witnessed a breathtaking race between the districts, and Palakkad appearing to be bracing for the gold cup, the final results saw both of them failing to surpass one another in terms of the total points.

HSS and HS section Speech (Urdu), Mimicry (HS Girls and Boys) and Vanchippattu (HSS and HS) were the events staged on the closing day of the one-week festival.
