New Delhi: American President Barack Obama mentioned Kerala to talk about the beauty and diversity of India, while addressing a 2,000-strong audience at Siri Fort auditorium in New Delhi on Tuesday, the last day of his three-day visit to India.
Obama praised India's beauty from the "backwaters of Kerala to the banks of Ganga".
"...America wants to be your partner and represent the health of your people and the beauty of this land from the backwaters of Kerala to the banks of Ganga," Obama said.
"Today, I want to speak directly to you, the people of India, about what I believe we can achieve together and how we can do it," he said.
