Kalpetta/Alappuzha: C.K Saseendran has been unanimously re-elected as the secretary of CPI(M) Wayanad district committee. In Alappuzha, Saji Cheriyan has been chosen as the new district secretary.
A 25-member district committee has also been constituted in Wayanad. Of which, there are five new faces in the district panel. The new entrants are Rukmini Subrahmaniam, Suresh Taloor, P. Vasudevan, K.Shameer and A.K Rafeeq.
This is the third consecutive time Saseendran has been elected as the district secretary.
In Alappuzha, the newly elected committee includes five new members. The new members are N.Sajeevan, V.S Mani, P.K Sabu, G.Harishankar and K.Madhusoodanan.
