Kochi: The Kerala High Court Wednesday has expressed its displeasure over the delay in the printing of school textbooks.
The single bench, while considering a plea, has said the delay in the printing of textbooks cannot be justified.
The court asked the state government to file the affidavit explaining the steps taken so far in this regard.
State Education Minister P.K Abdurabb had earlier said that the textbooks were expected to be distributed by July.
The Lok Ayukta had ordered an inquiry into the delay in the printing and distribution of school textbooks in the state.
