LPG tanker lorry overturns; driver killed

Edarikkode: A tanker lorry carrying LPG overturned at Edarikkode near Kottakkal in Malappuram, killing the driver on Friday morning.

Fire-force personnel from Tirur, who were rushed to the spot, doused the fire. A major tragedy was averted as the gas tanker was empty.

The tanker lorry, which was on its way to IOC Chelari plant, fell into a canal. Traffic along the national highway had to be diverted.
