Kozhikode: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Kerala unit Tuesday has passed a resolution to toe the hardline Hindutva agenda in the state.

“The minority communities have become majority in Kerala. The Hindu community is being pushed out in the state. Presence of the Bangladeshi muslims are on the rise,” says the resolution.

Talking to reporters after the party’s leadership meeting, BJP state president V.Muraleedharan has said this situation will destroy the state's uniqueness.

He said the BJP will try to bring all Hindu outfits, including the Nair Service Society (NSS), under one umbrella. "The BJP has no issues with the NSS. We have only pointed out the mistakes committed by its leaders," he said.

“The faction of Kerala Congress led by P.C. Thomas will be inducted into the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA),” he said, adding that “the NDA's functioning will be strengthened in the state.”

“A meeting of the NDA will be held in the second week of August in Thiruvananthapuram,” he said.
