Kochi: Cricketer S. Sreesanth on Sunday has said that he hopes he can return to the cricket soon.
A day after he was acquitted of all charges in the sensational 2013 IPL-6 spot-fixing case, cricketer S. Sreesanth returned to his home in Kochi this morning amid a rousing welcome by his family members and fans.
“I am happy that I have my life and career back. I thank all those who stood by me all this while. I hope that I can start playing cricket soon,” he told reporters.
“I will start training today itself and that I will play in any matches that he is allowed to,” he said.
