Thiruvananthapuram: The LDF Opposition Tuesday sought a judicial probe into the lapses surrounding the printing of textbooks for schools in the state.

T.V Rajesh MLA, who moved an adjournment motion, said the education minister should reveal the truth behind the lapses in the printing of the school textbooks.

Education Minister P.K Abdurabb, in reply to it, said the printing of the textbooks would be completed by July 20.

Following the minister’s reply, the Speaker rejected the permission for the adjournment motion and the entire LDF Opposition walked out of the Assembly.
