Karipur airport melee: DGP says CCTV footages show who is at fault

Kozhikode: ADGP N Shankar Reddy (North) on Friday said that the CCTV footages have shown who all were at fault in the clash between the CISF personnel and airport authority employees at Karipur International airport in Kozhikode, which resulted in the death of a CISF personal.
“Everyone knows the details of the incident. I am not going to defend both the parties as a probe in underway,” Reddy told reporters here.
“CISF and airport officials have seen the CCTV footages. The investigation into the incident is developing. What we have got now is a preliminary report. Action against the guilty will be taken only after the final report,” the ADGP said.
Meanwhile, Aji Kumar, the fire force officer who is undergoing treatment at MIMS hospital here after he suffered injuries in the clash, said that the CISF personnel were deliberately attacking him as he had questioned some of their misconducts.
