Kottayam: The Mahatma Gandhi University has decided to shut down all its off-campus centres which do not have government recognition.
The University took the decision after receiving a directive from Kerala Governor P. Sathasivam, who is also the varsity's chancellor, in this regard.
Of the total 133 off-campuses, 77 were closed down earlier on the Governor’s order.
The University sources said special arrangements would be made for those students who are affected due to the closure of the off-campuses.
