Ready to appear before solar commission: V.M Sudheeran

Thiruvananthapuram: Making it clear that he did not have any dissent with the ongoing probe into the solar scam, KPCC president V.M Sudheeran Thursday said he would appear before the judicial commission probing the solar scam after the Aruvikkara by-poll.
“I don’t have any dissent with the judicial commission probing the solar scam. I’ll appear before the commission after the Aruvikkara election,” he said.
On Friday, the commission had summoned Sudheeran to give his statement. He, however, did not appear and requested the commission to exempt him from being a witness.
Sudheeran requested that since he is not an MLA or a government representative, he has no connection with the solar scam. He even doesn’t have any evidence to submit before the commission. But the Commission had rejected his request.
