Chandy trying to sell Vizhinjam port to Adani: VS

Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader V.S Achuthanandan Tuesday said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy was trying to sell the Vizhinjam port to the Adani group.

Inaugurating the campaign of the Opposition Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate M. Vijayakumar at Aryanad, he alleged that about a Rs 6,000-crore corruption was involved in the deal with Adani Ports.

“The UDF dispensation has crossed all borders of corruption,” the CPI(M) veteran said

“The ministers in the government are indulging in corrupt practices in a greedy manner, just like Chief Minister Chandy,” he said.
