Thiruvananthapuram: Senior Congress leader A K Antony on Sunday said party’s vice president Rahul Gandhi needed a break and he would come back strongly.
"Rahul Gandhi has gone on leave since he has been working round the clock for the past few months for the party. Hence he wanted a break. He will come back strongly," Antony told reports defending Rahul's leave of absence here on Sunday.
“The absence is just impermanent. There are people who fear his presence. And it is those people who create controversies over his absence,” said the Congress Working Committee member.
