Kottayam: Finance Minister and Kerala Congress(M) chief K.M Mani Sunday has said the bar bribery allegations will be discussed in the party meetings again if it is needed.

“The bar bribery issue will be discussed in the party meetings again if it is needed. It will be discussed along with other issues,” Mani told reporters.

After the Kerala Congress(M) steering committee meeting yesterday, Mani had made it clear that there would not be any more organisational meetings to discuss the bar licence bribery issue.

He also said no resolution had been passed the party’s steering committee meeting supporting him in the bribery charges.

“No such resolution had been passed at the meeting. However, all the leaders of the party are in support of me,” he said.

Mani had also said that the report of the party-appointed inquiry commission led by C.F. Thomas would not be made public. “It was an attempt to weaken the party and the party had to know who were behind it,” he said.
