Youth Congress posters against K M Mani appear in Wayanad

Wayanad: Deepening the crisis in the ruling UDF over the bribery allegations against Finance Minister and Kerala Congress (M) supremo K M Mani, Youth Congress in Wayanad has demanded his resignation.

Posters of Youth Congress appeared seeking Mani’s resignation at several parts of the district on Tuesday.

K M Mani should quit soon. Why to cling on to the minister post and weaken the UDF when he has the opportunity to come clean on himself by resigning?, some of the posters read.

The posters also warn him to not enter the district.

“The bribery allegations will spoil the prospects of the Congress in the Panchayat elections in which the lower level leaders contest. Why to give K M Mani the privilege that was not given to K Karunakaran when he was accused to bribery?”

The posters appeared at Kalpetta Town, Civil Station, and DCC office premises.
