Kochi: The Kerala High Court Friday granted bail to James Mathew MLA, who was arrested on charges of abetting the suicide of a school headmaster.
The first accused M.V. Shaji was also granted bail in the case.
E.P. Sasidharan, who was the headmaster of Tagore Vidyanikethan Higher Secondary School at Thaliparampa, committed suicide in a hotel room in Kasargode town Dec 14 last year.
In his suicide note, Sasidharan blamed Mathew and fellow school teacher M.V.Shaji for his suicide.
