Court denies bail to Nisham

Thrissur: The district sessions court Saturday denied bail to controversial businessman Mohammed Nisham in connection with the death of Sobha City security guard Chandrabose.

His bail plea was rejected in the wake of new allegations that there were attempts to sabotage the probe into the death case.

Nisham allegedly roughed up the security guard and then dragged him to the wall of the parking lot and ran his Hummer vehicle into his body for delay in opening the gate of the apartment complex, where the victim worked.

Police had earlier booked Nisham for posting photographs of his seven-year-old son driving a Ferrari on the social media.
