Kozhikode: Three persons of a family, part of a 14-member group from Mysore, drowned while taking bath in the sea at Kappad beach in Kozhikode.
Indhudhar (24), his father Venkatanarayanan (51) both from Mysore and his uncle R V Venkatesh (51) were on a tour to Kerala along with others.
The trio had gone into the sea while taking bath last evening and started drowning. On hearing their screams of others, fishermen nearby areas brought them ashore.
They were rushed to a hospital at a nearby town but could not be saved, police said.
