Narcotic substances seizure: Six get bail

Kochi: Six among the seven persons who were arrested on charges of using narcotic substances during a raid at a five star hotel here on Sunday, have been granted bail.
The court on Monday granted bail to the arrested, except a Russian DJ, for lack of evidence.
Narcotic substances, including ketamine, were seized during the crackdown in which the Moscow based DJ Psykovsky alias Vasily Markelov and six youths were arrested from the hotel Sunday night.
The raid was conducted based on a tip-off.
The police had already let off three persons on Sunday. However, a case was registered against Psykovsky and three others under non-bailable offences.
The court said that the police could not prove that the three persons used drugs. The bail was given on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each.
Psykovsky, who has also been charged for violating visa norms, was denied bail as he could not pursue the bail conditions.
