Kasargod: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kerala on December 15 for the first time after assuming office last year, BJP state president V Muraleedharan Monday said.
Modi would unveil the statue of former Kerala chief minister R Sankar, at Kollam, he told reporters here.
Sankar, who was the chief minister during 1962-64, was also the president of the Congress party in Kerala.
Earlier, Muraleedharan called on Vellapally Natesan, General Secretary of the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam, an organisation of backward Ezhava community, and extended BJP's support to his statewide 'Samathwa Munnetta Yatra'" (March for Equality).
